How to remove a trojan virus from your computer


Trojan viruses are one of the most harmful viruses for your computer's security and privacy. It is type of malware that intrudes your computer as friendly software. It may be from a torrent download, or some software from the internet. Once a computer is infected with a Trojan virus, the malware can be designed to steal end-user information, perform destructive harm on the target computer, or even download additional computer malware. 


Step1: If you are using a Mac computer so restart it and hold the "Shift" key while the computer restarts itself.

Step2: Now open your installed antivirus on your computer. Now go to "Disk View" and select "Scan/Repair" for scan & delete the detected Trojan by antivirus.

Step3: Now restart your Mac computer to ensure that all Trojan has been permanently deleted. After restart your computer empty the recycle.

Step4: If you are using a windows system then you need to disable system restore feature. For disable system restore feature, Go to desktop & right click on "My Computer" icon and select "properties" tab. Now "Turn off System Restore" under the System Restore tab in the "Properties" window then select "apply". For confirmation of successfully disable system restore, click on "Yes" and "OK".

Step5: Now open your antivirus and updated it so that it can download latest definitions against virus & worms for keep your computer protected.

Step6: You can scan your file for detection of Trojan file. Follow the instructions in your antivirus program to delete any suspicious files.

You may want to write down the path and file name of the Trojan, which is usually found in the "C:\" hard drive. Then, edit your computer's backup registry by choosing "Start," then "Run." Type "regedit" in the window that appears, and clicks on "OK".

Step7: Search for the registry entry from which the Trojan derived, which may begin with "HKEY" followed by the file path. Delete the registry entry to ensure that the Trojan is removed. 

Step8: Now exit the registry entry and restart your computer so that the changes can take effect.

It is simplest way to check Trojan horse virus in your computer & remove virus permanently.

But it is quite difficult sometimes to remove a Trojan virus from your computer, even if you're not using good anti-virus software. I actually had this problem when the software I used could not remove the Trojan virus. After several tries, I decided to manually remove a Trojan horse virus.
